Egypt Obelisks

Now it's time to discuss one of the most notable element of sculpture - obelisks. They were originally produced in Ancient Egypt, but are now spread all over the world. Washington Monument, different steles and such a stuff are all made from Egyptian prototypes. Also you can see ancient Egyptian obelisks in many big cities - London, Rome, New York, Istanbul...

Web Directories

There is a such category of sites called web directories. They keep a lot of different web-sites and sort them by categories. You just choose interesting for you category and get list of aimed sites. The most famous site from this category is DMOZ. But it is realy hard to get listed in it. If anyone can help to submit our wonderful site you always welcom. The Civil wars of the Tetrarchy in the Roman Empire was a long civil war between pretenders to throne of Emperor. It's hard to decide who of them was usurpator, who was the true Emperor. The war lasted about 2 decades and raised to power cruel and very famous today general Constantine, who became the sole ruler in the whole Empire. Later Constantine made Christianity the official religion in Rome Empire and founded new capital of the state, which was known as Constantinople until 1453, when was conquered by the Ottomans. Pharaoh Den


One of the key kings of Old Kingdom of Egypt was Den. He struggled against nomad peoples in Sinai peninsula, build irrigation systems, and promote art. More about Pharaon Den's achievements read here, but now I want to add some pictures concerning to this pharaoh.
